  Lamina Keyboards Ltd. has been making membrane keyboards since 1979.  Our first customer was one making scoreboards for a darts system.  Since then we have made keyboards for applications as diverse as milking parlour control systems and a back-lit radar display panel,  The need to develop custom membrane keyboards which meet requirements which may be unusual has become a hallmark of our products - its not often a design requirement includes the ability to function after being run over by a tank!  Our keyboards have surpassed the most stringent environmental tests including simulated nuclear blast for the UK Ministry of Defence and are certified for ship-borne use.

  We have a wealth of expertise on circuit design, tactile dome design (made by our subsidiary Snap-dome Systems (www.snap-dome.com) and screen printing.  Because of the inadequacy of commercially available equipment we have designed and produced membrane keyboard life testing units and to enhance our ability to produce high quality printed overlays, we produced our own high speed UV curing unit. We export throughout the world and have continually invested in training our personnel and updating our equipment.

  Our lead times from order to dispatch of a completely new product can be as low as 24 hours.  Usually we prefer a little longer and our standard turn round time is 7 days.
